The facilities at Morning Glory Farm include:

  • The Pavilion, a 2000 sq ft. building with meeting hall, kitchen,
    and full bath perfect for classes, receptions and events.
  • Hot tub and wood-fired sauna next to the pond and pavilion.
    50 Acres of private land with walking trails through the fields and the woods.
  • A lovely 2-acre pond with a sand beach for swimming and fishing.
  • Private and semi-private accommodation for 9, plus unlimited camping with shower/kitchen access.

Our site is ideal for those wanting privacy. You will be the only group in a lovely natural setting which is convenient, easy to find, yet quiet. Besides our regular workshops, Morning Glory Farm is available for graduations, weddings, team planning meetings...any appropriate event. Just drop us a line to ask about such events.

Lodging

We can accommodate up to nine people in private or semi private rooms, more if they wish to stay in our beautiful new enclosed pavilion. Camping is also an option for those who wish to be closer to the land. There are additional bed and breakfast facilities close by.

The following rates apply when attending a scheduled workshop, or scheduled sessions with Dr. Parsons. See Personal Retreats for individual retreat lodging rates, or "Day Use" below for group lodging rates without a workshop.

The following prices are for accomodation and facility use only. Workshop fees are additional. We have 3 rooms with double beds, one with twin beds, one with three twin beds. The Pavilion may be used as indoor camping site, as it has bath and kitchen available. Towels and linens are provided. Meals are not included with the below prices, but often included with workshops. We emphasize natural healthy food grown in our own garden as much as possible. Kitchen use is included in the prices below.

We realize each group is unique. Call to discuss your needs and special rates. For example, for some groups we have allowed camping, or arranged special hikes for children. We are only 15 minutes from famous Lake Lure and and only 15 minutes from rafting, tubing and kayaking on the lovely Green River. Bring your group here for a marvelous and memorable weekend, and enjoy privacy and comfort with the joys of nature.

A non-refundable deposit of one night fee is due on contract signing. The balance is due at the end of your event. Pets are welcome in most cases. Please contact us ahead of time if you'd like to bring a pet. Click here for directions to the farm.
